Happy 2020 All!
2019 was a year of ups and downs, farewells and hellos, health scares and healing. Health issues were the big story of the beginning of last year, fortunately most of that has balanced out and falling into a manageable routine.
Unbound Productions has produced its last event at Mountain View Mausoleum, and I have produced my last event along side my friend and co-founder Paul Millet (who is off and running on an exciting freelance career!), but the future is bright for the company, which I'm excited to lead as Artistic Director. And I won't be alone! Exciting staff announcements will be coming soon. 2019 saw 19 of my productions and readings including my Off-Broadway debut, a sold out reading of These Violent Delights at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre/Pasadena Playhouse, an immersive Wicked Lit reading at A Noise Within, and award-winning productions in New York, Hollywood and Dublin. It was a fun and illuminating year getting to play with the Antaeus Playwrights Lab, Playground-LA, Moving Arts, and Force of Nature Productions, and also productive as I completed an evening-length play, several short plays, moderated a few panels, and hacked apart some old work. I'm also working on a killer libretto for a production in May that I can't talk about just yet, but I will soon - super exciting. :-) Here's to the best of all things for all you in the Year of Perfect Vision!

My adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will receive its 12th production! It will also be my Sunflower State debut (that's state #26 for my career).
