These Violent Delights Pasadena Playhouse: Carrie Hamilton Theatre Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 8:00 p.m.
I've had a few readings of the short play This Hungry Churchyard, which I billed as Act VI, Scene I of Romeo and Juliet (i.e. a continuation of Shakespeare's story after the star-crossed lovers have died). Well now I got a grant and went and turned that short into an evening-length play! Please join me and a super collection of artists for a staged reading of this adventure-romantic-horror-comedy (my favorite genre!). I truly believe this is one of the best things I've ever written, I'd love to have you there! And join us after the reading for a reception at Trejos Cantina.

Two of my short plays will be included as 2nd Place Winners in Smith and Kraus' "The Best 10 Minute Plays of 2019!" That means they were top 60 out of more than 3,000 submissions, none too shabby. Much love to Playground-LA for inspiring and presenting the premiere of my cowboy marketing comedy "The Tale of Dakota Dawson" and The Unknown Artists for producing the world premiere of my bittersweet tragicomedy "Phone Friend" - both plays will receive recognition in the collection (the full script won't appear but I get a paragraph and a bio... better than a [feel free to complete simile]).
