Flash Gordon: The Musical - The Play

I've written something new. It's a short play. It's pretty much the most absurd thing I've ever put to paper.

That's saying a lot. The 1980 film Flash Gordon is my (second) favorite movie of all time, this is my love letter to entire Kingdom of Mongo. Flash Gordon: The Musical - The Play. The play will be included as part of Force of Nature Productions' 3rd Rush - a festival of short plays written in five days, linked by a common theme. This go around, the plays were inspired by specifc songs from the 80s (I randomly selected Queen's "Under Pressure") as well as randomly assigned artifacts, cast members and a director. I got a VHS tape for the former and a clown for the latter... this will be fun! Seating is limited - $15 in advance, $20 at the door: TICKETS Many thanks to Sebastian Munoz for tapping me for this and the good people of Force of Nature Productions for giving me the format and inspiration to write this play.
