The Violent Delights, and Gordon's Alive!

These Violent Delights: Staged Reading - December 9th Carrie Hamilton Theatre at Pasadena Playhouse Earlier this month, I had a ridiculously fun reading of This Hungry Churchyard, an Act VI, Scene I of Romeo and Juliet (thank you Sebastian, Tosca, Ian, Bill and Pamela!). I just found out that I've been awarded an Individual Artist Grant from the City of Pasadena to adapt that short into an evening-length piece! Whoo-hoo! That play will be titled These Violent Delights and will continue the story of life in Verona post-R&J. It'll be delightful, and violent, and hopefully a hoot.

Many thanks to the Pasadena Cultural Affairs Department, the Pasadena Arts Commissioners, and Danny Feldman and Pasadena Playhouse for hosting the reading! Details will be shared as I have them. :-) Carrie Hamilton Theatre Pasadena Playhouse 39 S. El Molino Ave. Pasadena, CA 91101

Details Soon!

---------------

Flash Gordon: The Musical - the Play is getting revived as part of Force of Nature's "Best of Rush!" My piece is an homage to IP-driven musicals, self-loathing artists, and my all-time favorite sci-fi movie masterwork (soundtrack by Queen). Three Thursdays in August as part of a Smörgåsbord of shorts picked from six previous festivals.

27 Ways I Didn't Say "Hi" to Laurence Fishburne will be produced later this year at York College of Pennsylvania!

This is production #8 for the little play that received it's world premiere at the Humana Festival... still one of the best theatrical experiences of my life. :-)
