Obsessed With Morpheus, Much?

I'm not actually obsessed with Laurence Fishburne, though a chance non-conversation may have linked us inextricably, forever (even if he is unaware of this fact...). That lack of an encounter with the great actor while he was performing in Fences at Pasadena Playhouse led to the creation of my Humana 10-minute 27 Ways I Didn't Say "Hi" to Laurence Fishburne... which led to the development of That Laurence Fishburne Play with Little Candle Productions... which led to this upcoming staged reading on October 23 at 3pm! The gang at Little Candle has been amazingly supportive as I navigate this tricky, weird, self-deprecating play - honestly I'm amazed they've let me get this far. And if Laurence Fishburne isn't your speed, spoiler alert, this particular evening-length piece also features Rosanne Barr, Michael Flatley and Fionna Apple among its cast of characters. Reservations are encouraged, RSVP here: TICKETS

Anansi and the Demons is up and running as a part of Wicked Lit 2016! This immersive folktale-meets-ghost-story is drawn from West African proverbs and children's Anansi stories. I could not be more proud of the work from my director, Jaime Robledo, the incredible cast, and tireless design team that has made this piece come to an amazing life at Mountain View Cemetery!

More fun at the Mausoleum with Camp Mountain View, the frame for Wicked Lit 2016. This highly interactive (and incredibly silly) part of the event takes place pre=show, during the intervals and just before the curtain call. Enjoy campfire stories, ghostly arts and crafts and apparition archery at Wicked Lit Talent Night!
